4.0 GPA this semester -- happycakes!

So I finally found out my grades for the other two classes, both A's!

That means 5 A's this semester... 4.0!

I took:

MGA201 - Intro to Accounting I
MGQ201 - Intro to Computer & Statistics
ECO181 - Intro to Macroeconomics
GLY101 - Geology & Lab
CHI201 - Chinese 201

18.5 credits total :)

I'm proud of myself .. but also need to keep it up ! P R E S S U R E

It's been freeezing lately, the streets covered in snow and ice. But now that it is starting to get warmer, it's going to be mostly rainy days :(

On the bright side, I finally received my final exam grade for Macroeconomics.. 97! That makes it my 3rd A of the semester! A for AWESOME :D

I hope next semester won't be too hard to handle... I'll be taking two history courses (world history and US history) and history is definitely not my strong point! & I'm still considering whether or not to continue taking Chinese...

And tomorrow, I'm going shopping with my hunnie at Roosevelt Field Mall... and since I'm in such a good mood, I'm be sure to spoil myself... or rather, let my boyfriend spoil me lols.

Back in New York City!

I've been back home for a few days now (since Tuesdays) and things feel gooood.

I haven't done anything major, but just relaxing with family and my boyfriend is an amazing thing.

I've chilled with my mom, doing nails, getting facials, shopping (I got new boots!), eating dimsum, and such.

My boyfriendddd took me to a sushi place near Baruch & afterwards, we watched Twilight. I know everyone warned me not to watch it, but in the end I did anyways! It wasn't that bad! But gosh, $12.50 for a movie is wayyy expensive.

I feel like my time here is so limited! I head back to Buffalo on January 11th, so I've got less than 4 weeks vacation time!! Which sounds like a lot, but I know it'll pass so fast..

Some things I want to do:

1) Get my camera. Finally. Once and for all. I really will this time.

2) Celebrate brother's/dad's/my birthday (Jan 1st, 7th, 8th)!

3) Be by my honey's side more often!

4) Haircut (my bangs are long again)

5) Celebrate Christmas with my friends. I need to spend more time with them, and hopefully keep a close relationship with all of them.

6) Shopping [spree?] with honey (like I promised)

7) Tutor Tim more often

& other stuff I can't think of right now.

I should sleep now.

Christmas Nails!

Hey! So I got a FREE Essie nail polish a few weeks ago (the color is Pama, and it's a deep red -- very pretty!) in the mail.. and yes, it is full size! I loove Essie nail polish so I was excited to try out this new color, but I've been so caught up with studying for finals that this bottle of nail polish has been sitting in my drawer for wayyy too long.

So I attempted to do something christmassy.. but I didn't have any green nail polish soooo I guess it's not all that christmassy. Lol.

So this is how it looks like:


Don't mind the metrocard lol, I used it to wipe off excess nail polish...


These are the products I used:
- Essie nail polish in Pama (for french tips),
- Orly base coat (Bonder! Love this stuff!)
- Rimmel nail polish in Pink Flash (I used this on the whole nail, it's actually more of a clear polish with some pink specks that show in the light)
- Sally Hansen topcoat (yes, I am running out!)
- some random white nail art polish I got at the dollar store. :)

Wish To See You Again

So I'm done with 4 of my 5 finals and I decided I needed a break from studying.

So I started watching this drama called "Wish to See You Again" and I'm only up to episode 1 but the drama starts off very weird lol. It stars F4 members Vic and Ken. Vic is such a weirdo that its hilarious, haha.

The poster looks promising though!

Sigh...

I wish I hadn't walked halfway through so blindly, only to realize the other half of the way is 10x more bumpy.. 10x more slippery.. But you've already gotten to this point and you cannot, you won't let yourself give up.

I just need to know someone else cares.

My Ups and Downs

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND -- this portion of the post was edited out.

Yesterday I got my FREE Essie Nail Polish in the mail. The color is "Pama" and is supposed to be a limited edition color... it's basically a deep red color, reminds me of Pomegranate. I tried it on my pinky nail.. it's a pretty unique color =) and best of all, it was free! Yay! Anyways, this week is the last week of classes.. and then next week is going to be finals week. I've got 5 finals so it's going to be a lot of studying on my part. Horrible part is, my last final is on the LAST day of finals, the 15th. I'll be going home, by PLANE (thank God!) on the 16th. My plane trip was only $135 because I used the $25 voucher that JetBlue gave me for the bird-incident on my last flight that caused me to be late for my class lol.

AND-- Last night's episode of House was SO GOOD.

Starting at 1:15, the conversation goes like this:

House: You're not stopping me for medical reasons. You're stopping me because you have the hots for me.
Cuddy: You're still here because you have the hots for me.
House: Evidence by the fact that, I'm the one that moved into your office.
(fyi, Cuddy moved into House's office)
Cuddy: It's the biggest office, and I'm not the one-
House: Why are you dressed like that? Why do you try so hard to get my attention? Are you screwing with me?
Cuddy: Are you screwing with me?
House: Depends on your answer.
Cuddy: Everybody knows this is going somewhere. I think we're supposed to kiss now.
House: We already did that. *places hand on boob* Seems like the logical next step.
Cuddy: Really? I'm an idiot for being surprised.

SO MUCH DRAMA! Can't believe House did that though... ruined his chance!! Can't wait until next week's episode!
